Conservation project

ConservArte carries out conservation projects for books, archives and works of art on paper for public and private institutions throughout Europe.

Since 2017 ConservArte has participated in research projects on the conservation of the Altamira Cave Paintings in collaboration with the IBE of the CNR of Florence.

Since 2021, ConservArte has collaborated with the Casa de las Donas Ethnographic Museum of Enterrias Liebana, for the conservation of the archive and the museum’s collections.

Conferences

ConservArte since its creation, it has organized conferences and congresses on the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage, in collaboration with public and private institutions in Italy and Spain.

Since 2017, it has organized Encuentro Internacional de Conservacion y Patrimonio in the Central Library of Cantabria, MAS of Santander and the National Museum and Investigation Center of Altamira.

Since 2023, it has organized the International Congress of Cultural Heritage and New Technologies with the CNR of Florence, the National Central Library of Florence and the Ximenian Observatory.

Workshop

Since 2023, ConservArte has been organizing the International Workshop sul restauro cartaceo in Florence at the Ximenian Observatory.

Since 2017, it has organized the Curso de Conservacion y Restauracion de libros y Documentos in the Biblioteca Central de Cantabria.

Since 2008 it has organized the Curso de Conservacion de archivos y bibliotecas of Santillana del Mar.

Publications

Since its creation, ConservArte has participated in studies on heritage conservation. Publishing articles in magazines and specialized forums.
